June 2002

Welcome to the 4th edition of Any Given Sunday - Inline Email Newsletter.

Yeah what a month again! I was offered a job in Manchester England for 3 mths working as the Transport Operations Manager at the Atheletes village for the Commonwealth Games. Cool huh!

Well that means we will still run a July edition of the newsletter but August will definately be postponed. So we will back on the first Sunday in September. I will still be on email and will keep my nose to the ground. It will be interesting to check out the UK skate scene.

New Stuff
Mindgame is finally coming to Australia with the first full shipment of gear being distributed in August. Apprantly they will have their Ti Bearing here by the end of this month...as seen in the current copy of Daily Bread and then all the clothes, wheels, backpacks etc will be here around August. Tell your local shop to email me at contact@18zero.com and I will pass on the distributors details.

Senate have released some new clothes from the 2002 Spring range. There is a couple of long sleeve t's and some cool baseball shirts as well as a limited edition ASN Me Kill Team Backpack...check it all out at your local shop NOW! ps....I still hold the reversable hoody as my favourite Senate item.

Fiziks sent me 2 pairs of their frames....one pair will become a prize and the other pair will be used to show as many people as possible about the frames. While I am away I will ensure that there is a 18Zero rep somewhere around the place showing kids the frames. Hopefully the Fiziks frames will be retailing in Australia soon. A big thanx to Erin for organising this for me...
check out the www.fiziks.com website to learn about the frames....i really don't think I could explain it properly, except to say they are like a suspension frame.

Videos
IMYTA #3 is now available and you should also check out the TEK vid. We all watched it over our place the other day after a Road Kill "re-visited" session and they are both great vids.

Apparantly the Mindgame guys are busy working on a new vid as well and we will keep you posted on that one.

I watched the Be-Mag video "Visual Symphony" the other day...seems a bit short but is another good one to add to your collection....after all you can never have enough videos.

On this subject...there are a number of videographers here in Oz who works their butts of to produce good local vids for you guys to watch. Dont destroy it all by copying the vids for all your buds....its not like they are that expensive and you need to support skaters doing stuff for other skaters.
