Australian Rollerblading / Inline Skating Online Magazine
- rollerblading.com.au

The Australian Rollerblading / Inline Skating Online Magazine features more local content than any other Australian site devoted to the sport of rollerblading aka in-line skating and we're one of the longest running. If you're talking to someone about this site don't forget the web address is ROLLERBLADING.COM.AU and definitely not ROLLERBLADING.COM. For new skaters we offer lessons in Sydney and Melbourne. Whether you're a rollerblader / inliner / roller, extreme sports fan, sports photographer, writer or someone just wanting information on the sport such as where Australia's best rollerbladers are, this online magazine and directory will interest you. Our links area features lots of regional sites plus an Aussie companies area for retailers, distributors and manufacturers.

Other site features include areas for articles and media enquiries, news, some past Australian skater profiles, product reviews, trick tips (with video clips), image gallery and much more.

Rollerblading.com.au is owned and run by James O'Connor, Coach Representative on the Skate Australia National Rollerblading Committee, Skate Australia Coach & IISA ICP & United Skate Schools (USSG) Instructor, who skates vert (half-pipe), park, street and slalom rollerblading. Thanks to a government grant (NEIS) this site was made possible. Thanks is also due to companies and individuals acknowledged in the contributor / thank you area. Coaching skating for Rollerblading.com.au, 1800 Reverse Street Active, and teaching high school science allows the producer of this site to financially support its ongoing development.

The Australian Rollerblading / Inline Skating Online Magazine has been involved on various levels as a sponsor / supporter / photographer for:

- Australian National Titles 2001-2007.
- Double Platinum - Australian Rollerblading video
- 32#1#6 Double or Nothing Video & Issue 4
- Road Kill Tour
- Inline Anarchy Competition Series
- ESBC (East Sydney Battling Contest)

A few words on sponsorship...

Australian skater profilesIf you're an Australian rollerblader trying to get sponsored we can not sponsor you BUT may be able to help you by setting up a skater profile provided that you're Australian (or live in Australia) and have some good rollerblading pics....Click here for more info. This may help you when approaching skate shops, distributors or clothing companies. In addition, put together a You Tube clip of your best skating. Also, never be afraid to talk with the professional skaters at competitions such as the National Titles and support the Rollerblading.com.au Invitational, real street comps such as HYGS, SUSC & TLMS. At the end of the day sponsorship is not everything but it can help you to cut costs.

For more information you can also connect with us on facebook by adding Rollerblading Sydney, Rollerblading Melbourne or Rollerblading Australia.
