Road Kill Update - Adam Wynne

The WA scene went off when the tour hit Perth. There
were skaters from all over that we had never seen
before that had come to check out the street scene.

Ian Brown
killed everything that he touched doing the most
crazy ledge in Perth that only a few skaters had ever
attempted. Ian finished it off with a nice front
royale and was the first skater to ever make the
distance. It was crazy! Another stunt by Ian was when he
set up some slabs of concrete to make a small kick
ramp and did this crazy topsoul to gap the drop. It would
have been about 9 feet into a car park. Also Dave Simpson
was on fire really keeping it real for the WA skaters. It
was really good to see that all the younger skaters
that are coming right up into the scene were really
skating well and getting juiced to do new stuff.

The Perth part of Road Kill 2001 was insane and I'm sure
that it will keep getting better as the bus travels
through stops on its way to the final destination
Brisbane.
