PERTH TO HOST THE EVOLUTION OF FREESTYLE

 "PLANET X LIVE"

Planet X have partnered with games giant Activision 02 and announce that Perth will be the first city in the world to host the latest evolution in freestyle sports events - PLANET X LIVE ? to be staged on Friday November 30 at the Burswood Dome.

The very first Planet X Live show will feature a host of top international freestyle sports stars along with new-blood Australian talent in skateboard, inline, freestyle moto x and BMX as part of an action packed show to 14,000 spectators. The cast will total over 40 athletes, breakers and musicians.

Planet X Director and Creator, Damien Bray:

?We've been involved in freestyle sport for more than five years. Over this time we've seen incredible growth with a strong following across a broad audience.  It's time for the next step in freestyle. Planet X Live is an event concept with the average punter in mind - it's not elitist or core, just an awesome night out.?

One big attraction will undoubtedly be American freestyle moto x legend and daredevil Seth Enslow.  Enslow is renowned for his massive moto x jumps, legendary worldwide via the Crusty Demons of Dirt videos, the highest selling action sports videos in the world, with a huge cult following.  Seth is currently working up his second assault on a world record distance of 253ft on a dirt bike.  His last attempt at this jump, in Las Vegas, landed Seth in hospital with serious head injuries.

< span lang="EN-AU" style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt">The all-star athlete line-up will also include international athletes such as moto x riders Brian Deegan and 'Mad Mike' Jones from the US; Brazilian skateboarder Sandro Dias; UK BMX Vert rider Zach Shaw and BMX Dirt Jumper Cory ?Nasty? Nostazio.  Australia will be well represented by moto x riders Luke Urek, Leigh Harriman and Robbie Marshall, skaters Renton Millar and Ben Pappas and BMX riders Matt Fairbairn, Tim Wood and Colin Mackay.

The Planet X Live 'stage' will fill the entire, 4250 square metre, floor area of the Burswood Dome.  The stage is a hybrid of extreme sport courses including the world's biggest portable vertical ramp, a multiple dirt jump course for BMX and an extensive freestyle moto x course complete with 80 foot gap dirt jumps.  The course is designed to bring out the hottest new tricks and stunts for high impact entertainment.

A team of breakers, graff artists and dancers will add to the counter-culture vibe.  Top Aussie DJs will provide the soundtrack with special effects elements including multi-media screens, light, sound and pyrotechnics pumping the riders and crowd.

Planet X Live will be televised via a 1 hour special to a global audience of over 300 million homes.

Tickets on sale from Monday, September 22 through
