 Lessons

When?
Lessons are available on most days and you can take a lesson after you finish work. The area where we teach is well lit so if you can't book weekend lessons try during the week after work! Book early to avoid disappointment.
Where?
Although other venues are available around Sydney we recommend you take your lessons at Milsons Point due to the availability of an undercover area in the event of rain and its closeness to the Harbour foreshore and CBD for advanced lessons and tours.
What Will I Learn?
We teach according to the United Skate Schools Group which took over from the International Inline Skating Association (IISA ICP) syllabus covering stopping, moving and turning but we don't stop there ... we encourage kids and the young-at-heart to get into the freestyle sport of aggressive inline skating as well as the growing sport of slalom / freestyle rollerblading. Lesson
For the less ramp or street inclined, and more recreational / fitness focused perhaps you could make your goal becoming proficient enough to skate at night with the group known as Sydney Bladers. But BEWARE the hills (learn how to stop - WELL) and always wear pads & a helmet! Ask your instructor for more details about cityskate, social skates, slalom clinics, Sydney's night skating scene and Hyde Park meets. A few lessons before you venture out on Sydney's streets is highly recommended and we make our lessons fun!
Group v's Private Lessons
Whilst in the past we have had groups of up to thirty skaters for university recreation courses (such as UNSW, UTS, Macquarie and Sydney Uni) we recommend that if you're new to rollerblading that you either first try a lesson pack of private lessons or limit your group sizes to much less than this. This boosts the quality of your instruction and makes for a more rapid progression. This makes your rollerblading lesson experience safer, more memorable and a lot more fun. As such most of our lessons are taught to individuals or small groups of up to five people that you organise. So you get at least a 5:1 student to instructor ratio otherwise we'll extend the lesson to ensure you get value for money. In our experience larger groups' bookings tend to be more unreliable (insert customer excuse such as Fred and Jo cannot make it, etc) so if you wish to book a lesson for a group of 5 or more we'd prefer that payment is prior to the lesson via EFT or PayPal at least 72hours before. That way even if 2 people in your group failed to show they may be able to still obtain a credit towards a future booking subject to our cancellation policy.
Equipment
Whilst we maintain a great size selection and quantity of K2, Rollerblade, Salomon, Roces, FILA and HYPNO skates plus excellent protective pads we encourage you to bring your own equipment if available. The use of protective equipment is required. We'll make you wear it during your lesson regardless of your ability level so please understand that it is provided for your safety.
