Featuring Australian superstar CJ Wellsmore alongside Kevin Quintin, Anthony Finocchiaro, Antony Pottier, Pascal Morasse-Raymond and Pierre Lelièvre, the edit features everything from Marseille’ famous bowl to hanging out at the Clic’N’Roll shop in Nîmes.

There, the skaters cruised along this beautiful city on big wheels during the day, and were shredding the bowl at night.

The last step was in Crolles for a cold and quick session until the sun went down.

The new skates are basically a re-skin of his original pro models, with an updated liner, side protector and green graphic details.

Filmed and edited in his home town of Sydney by the master that is Dom West, it doesn’t feature a whole lot of tricks but does provide insight into what CJ has been up to in 2015 (including his serious hand injury), alongside heaps of spectacular scenery of Bondi with plenty of epic aerials courtesy of Dom’s new DJI Phantom Vision drone.

I don’t know about you, but it definately whets our appetite for the long-awaited Chapter II of Vine St. Bring it on!

Anthony Finocchiaro was there to capture CJ Wellsmore, Manon Derrien, Pierre Lelièvre, Antony Pottier and Pascal Morasse-Raymond’s adventures at the first stop of the SEBA Street Summer Tour at France’s biggest action sports event.

Here is what Pascal had to say:

“For a Inline skaters, there’s isn’t much that can beat touring a country with some of the best skaters in the world, skating some of the best parks of Europe. “Luckily, I have the great opportunity to do just that. I landed in Paris on the 13th of may and met with CJ Wellsmore and Anthony Finocchiaro. A few minutes later we were heading for a 7 hours trip to Montpellier to participate in the FISE.

“Montpellier is a very charming city and during the FISE it’s also host of one of the biggest party I’ve seen in my life. The second day we we’re joined by Manon Derrien, Pierre Lelièvre and Antony Pottier to complete the lineup for the tour. I had the chance to be commenting on the live stream for all the rollerblading events during the festivities. It’s a great experience to be part of such a massive event.

“CJ Wellsmore managed to get 4th place during the park contest followed by Pottier in 5th. After those 4 days of intense partying and skating, we took a rest at Hadrien Bastouil’s place on the last night and headed to Marseille the next morning.”

Stay tuned for Episode #2!

Matt Caratelli drops edit and review of the Seba aggressive frames for Bayside Blades

Matt Caratelli frame review

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_video link=”https://vimeo.com/123479634″][vc_column_text disable_pattern=”true” align=”left” margin_bottom=”0″]Melbourne shredder Matt Caratelli has just dropped an online edit and review of Seba’s aggressive frames for Bayside Blades.

Alongside some killer skating at St Kilda, Yea and Newport parks, Matt has plenty of nice things to say about the Seba frames, which were launched in conjunction with the CJ Wellsmore pro model skates last year.

Matt said while the frames were heavier than the last frames he was riding, they were much more solid. The side H-block groove meant they have great centre of gravity for H-block tricks, meaning he can lean back on tricks and landings a bit more than usual and helped him air more on ramps/bowls. The downside was he had a reduced turning circle.

The frames are slightly wider than others on the market, which helped with cess slides and meant you couldn’t wear your wheels down as far. He also noted that he previously rode medium frames on a small boot, but compared to his previous frames, the length was definitely noticeable.

The Seba Frames are available in Australia now via Bayside Blades.

Filmed by Kev San Jose, Brad Struzycki and Mark Kowald.
Song: JJ DOOM – Guv_’nor (BADBADNOTGOOD Remix)

The edit features a bit of street skating on the streets of Chinese metropolis Shanghai (with guest appearances from Soichiro Kanashima, Richie Eisler and more), plus a bit of hectic skitching through the streets.

It’s not the most groundbreaking video you’ll see this year, but still a bit of fun!

CJ says: “I found some GoPro clips from one day in Shanghai Bombing the streets with some friends while we were there for the KIA world Extreme Games. Such a sick trip! Cant wait for next year.”[/vc_column_text][vc_video title=”CJ Wellsmore – A Normal Day In Shanghai” link=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpI_tgphaqs”][vc_column_text disable_pattern=”true” align=”left” margin_bottom=”20″]In case you missed CJ Wellsmore at the Kia World Extreme Games 2014, check out this awesome street highlights video below.
