[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPc4DHTgmuk”][vc_column_text disable_pattern=”true” align=”left” margin_bottom=”0″]Denmark’s Roskilde is the biggest festival in Northern Europe, hosting 160,000 people and 180 bands/artists (!!!) over four days.

Rollerblading is always an integral part of the extreme sport section of the event, with always a huge turn-out from some of the world’s best skaters.

Last year, Sydney’s Josh Nielsen managed to make his way to the event. While it’s a little late, an edit from Thisissoul has just popped up featuring Mr Nielsen shredding the park alongside names like Montre Livingston, Dave Lang, Dominik Wagner, Scott Quinn, Eito Yasutoko, Jeremy Suarez, Maxime Genoud, Richie Eisler and more.

Roskilde returns for another big year from June 27-July 4. CJ Wellsmore wasn’t at Winterclash in The Netherlands this year … or was he?

Last year’s Winterclash champion CJ Wellsmore didn’t make the event in 2015, but his presence was certainly felt.

Much like the crew of Richie Eisler impersonators last year, a group of fans took it upon themselves to ensure CJ still was a feature at the event, if only in spirit.

This year, David Sizemore took out the Pro Final ahead of Anthony Pottier and Nick Lomax, with Joe Atkinson taking out the USD Best Trick contest with a killer 360 fishbrain over the door to 270 cess slide.

Check out the archive of Locoskates’ livestream of the Pro qualifiers and finals below, plus full Top.10 results.

1. David Sizemore
2. Anthony Pottier

Danish videographer Karsten Boysen has just released an awesome official edit of the music, partying, skating and fun from the rollerblading crew over the week of the event.

Alongside Aussie hero CJ Wellsmore, the edit also features a huge cast of the world’s best skaters, including Richie Eisler, Dave Sizemore, Dave Lang, Dominic Wagner, Eito Yasutoko, Alex Broskow, Chris Farmer, Montre Livingson, Kare Lindberg and loads more.

With Roskilde attracting over 100,000 people annually, alongside some of the world’s biggest names in music, it’s awesome to see a festival that still places the rollerblading competition at the front-and-centre of attention. Who’s down for next year?
